Activity trail — an automatic, permanent record of every change made in the system: who changed it, what it was before, and what it is now. Recorded by the database itself, so nothing can be missed and nothing here can be edited or deleted afterwards. Useful when a customer queries an advisory, a price, or what was authorised.
